Zango has been described by well-known companies such as AOL and ZoneAlarm as spyware and the company behind it has been the subject of legal action by the US Federal Trade Commission.
According to ZoneAlarm, "Zango is attempting to monitor user activities on your computer. If allowed it may try to track or log keystrokes (user input), mouse movements/clicks, Web sites visited, and other user behaviors."
